Hm, it hasn't been terribly long since I last updated my journal. But anyway, onto other stuff.


Soul Silver Update

So um...I have eight badges now. Now all I have to do is train my team (and a few other things with the plot line)! = D One thing though: I have to train up my Dragonair before I go on with regular training. Rawr. She's 10 levels below the rest of my team, so it might take a bit.

Owl City

The new person I'm obsessed with listening to. I'm still surprised he does it all by himself, though, it's amazing. *o* I listen to his songs every day. = D See, his music genre is electronic/pop, which sounds really cool. It kinda reminds me of vocaloids in a way, only with English lyrics, of course. Here are my favorite songs of his:

1) "Fireflies"
The meaning of the song is simplistic yet complicated at the same time and the instrumental is great. Here's a description on the meaning of the song. But try listening to it first just for the sake of hearing it as a song, or trying to get the meaning of you want to.

2) "Hot Air Balloon"
An adorable love song X3

3) "The Bird and the Worm"
Another cute love song, it has one of the most cutest lines I've heard in it. X3

4) "Designer Skyline"
It has an awesome and really cool instrumental.

5) "Fuzzy Blue Lights"
A song about missing or the possibility of losing someone. The lyrics are interesting and the instrumental is simplistic yet can get slightly more complex at certain parts.

6) "Hello Seattle" (original version and remix)
Original: It's cool how he goes from place to place, giving you a new setting with each verse. Remix: It's mainly an instrumental piece beside the phrase "Hello Seattle" being thrown in there a certain intervals.

7) "Cave In"
The lyrics are cool and I really like the way he slides the notes for some reason.

8) "On the Wing" (original and new versions)
A cool love song. It's pretty cool how he rhymes most of the lines (hey, I just ryhmed too). One (or possibly two) people join with him in certain parts of the song, nothing major, though.

9) "The Saltwater Room"
Another cool love song. The lyrics rhyme in this one, too, and the instrumental is cool and simplistic some of the time. Some other person joins with him in the song, so there's a girl singing a duet with him in this one.

10) "West Coast Friendship"
Cool lyrics and instrumental. *can't really think of a description for this one*

11) "Dental Care"
Simple lyrics about going to the dentist, it's a pretty fun and funny song.

Yeah I like a lot of his songs...shuddup. >.> Now go listen to his stuff, though, it's really cool. ...NOW.
